The Collaboration Rubric in Family and Children’s Services

Our Collaboration Rubric® has been developed in close consultation with Child Protection, Family Law, Youth Justice and Family Support agencies. 

Strong and collaborative networks of community services help families protect the safety and well being of young children. These networks depend on a strong foundation of mutual respect and understanding of the work of others in the Network

 Using the Collaboration Rubric® as a guiding framework we have worked with Child Protection and Family Services agencies to strengthen their shared understanding of the value of their collaboration, identify the resources needed and to increase the support of influential stakeholders.

The Rubric has enabled agencies to establish a baseline of collaboration and to reflect on what they have achieved over time. In one change management project the Rubric® enabled family service agencies to measure improvements across every collaboration indicator over a two year period.
